Workplace smoking costs North American businesses more than $170 billion annually.
Every smoker an employer has on their payroll costs an additional $3,500 a year vs. employing a non-smoker due to higher absenteeism, lost productivity from smoke breaks and higher insurance premiums.
- Smokers take on average 6.5 days more sick leave a year
- They cost 35-50% more to insure than non-smokers
- The time spent daily on smoke breaks (up to 40 minutes) equates to 21 working days lost per smoker per year
- Many good employers have implemented expensive company funded smoking cessation programs in order to help employees get smoke-free. Sadly, most such programs generate poor to modest results, both in terms of success rates and by the critical cost-per-quitter benchmark.
No other method approaches the track record and success rate of the Easyway program.

Easyway consistently delivers returns on investment exceeding 600% in the first year.
Here is a typical Return on Investment (ROI) calculation:
- Let us assume Company A has 1000 employees 250 of whom smoke
- 50% of its smokers attend an Easyway seminar
- The success rate is 53.3% (based on Prof. Neuberger's independent clinical evaluation).
- The cost is $425 per employee which includes 2 formal follow up sessions and the money back guarantee.
Costs: $425 per smoker x 125 smokers = $53,125. Minus the refunds ($425 x (125 x 46.7%) = $23,250. Total cost to Company A is $26,750
Benefits in Year 1 = $3500 (the cost of employing a smoker vs a non-smoker) x 125 x 53.3% = $233,185
Return on Investment: $233,185/$26,750= 871%
Core seminar
The Easyway program is fast and easy to implement, consisting of one 5-hour core seminar led by one of our trained facilitators, themselves former smokers who have quit using Easyway. The majority of attendees quit successfully at the core seminar. For the few needing it, we offer unlimited post-seminar support.
Where permitted by law, attendees are welcome to smoke throughout the session. If this is not possible, 5 smoke-breaks are built into the session which adds about 1 hour to the seminar length, but does not affect the success rate. Seminars are conducted in groups of up to 25 smokers and can either be held on your premises if a suitable meeting room is available or at a local meeting venue.
Post-seminar support
Depending on the level of service you choose, we provide those attendees who are not initially successful with personalised support including up to 2 formal booster sessions at your premises.
